At Doug Miller Soccer, their core principles are: Respect, Integrity, Desire, Determination and Dedication. The DMS Total player Development program provides the youth soccer player with the means to reach their full potential be it high school, college or even professional soccer.
These shared ideals lead us to a great partnership with Doug Miller Soccer. We both believe in helping children of all ages achieve their higher education goals. We are proud to announce a new College Scholarship Program brought to the members of Doug Miller Soccer and Advantage Federal Credit Union.
The New Doug Miller Soccer and Advantage FCU Scholarship Program will award a total of TWO $1,000 scholarships.
Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for the scholarship:
· Must be a graduating High School Senior.
· Must be a current member of Advantage FCU with an account in their own name and members must
be in good standing with Advantage FCU.
· Must be a current member of a Doug Miller Soccer team in at least your 2nd season.
· Must complete a Scholarship application and essay.
· Must plan to attend an accredited college or university in the 2010/2011 school year.
Selection Process
Scholarship recipients will be selected based on their academic performance, community involvement, extracurricular activities, and essay responses. Each year there will be ONE boy and ONE girl selected as a scholarship winner.
