Here is how it works: Every time you refer a new member to us (and they become a member by opening an account) YOU are automatically entered into our monthly Laptop Giveaway Contest!

You can also answer our Trivia Questions / Monthly Giveaway on our website! Once you answer all 3 questions correctly, you are automatically entered into the drawing again!! It's that easy.

ELIGILBITY: Sweepstakes open only to legal residents over the age of 18 currently residing in New York. Employees and their immediate families and household members of Advantage Federal Credit Union and its respective subsidiaries and affiliates are not eligible to enter.
TO ENTER: You may enter by answering trivia questions on the Advantage website at www.advantagefcu.org.
A member is automatically entered when he/she refers a new member (new member is one who opens an account with Advantage). Once this account is opened, the referring member is entered into the laptop drawing. The new member is also entered automatically. Entries may also be obtained by filling out a postcard at any one of the branches. Entries must be received by the announced deadline each month. Contestants may enter as often as they wish, unless expressively specified otherwise in contest rules for the specific contest at issue.
CONDITIONS: An eligible entrant must enter as described above. Entries that are late, incomplete or inaccurate, illegible, lost, or damaged are void. By entering, entrants acknowledge compliance with the official rules including all eligibility requirements. Entries become the property of the Advantage Federal Credit Union, and will not be acknowledged nor returned. Advantage nor its subsidiaries, divisions, advertising and promotion agencies, and their respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees and agents are responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information. Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void. Advantage reserves the right to,in its sole discretion, cancel, modify, or suspend the sweepstakes should technical or other occurrences beyond the control of the organization compromise the administration, security, or proper play of the sweepstakes.
PRIZES: Grand prize winners will receive a Dell Vostro 3500, 15.6 widescreen LAPTOP COMPUTER. Prizes will be awarded at the end of the contest.
DETERMINATION OF WINNERS: Every correct, complete entry will have the opportunity to be selected at random. Odds of winning contest depend upon the number of eligible entries received between 12 midnight on the first day of specified month and 12 midnight on the last day of the specified month. Winner will be notified by telephone. Winner may be required to complete, sign, and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release (where legal) which must be completed and returned within seven (7) days of issuance of notification. If Advantage does not receive such documents properly signed within seven (7) days of issuance, or if prize notification is returned as undeliverable, prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. Prizes are not transferable and may not be redeemed for cash or other considerations.
All prizes awarded must be picked up at our Mt. Hope Branch located at 1625 Mt. Hope Avenue, Rochester NY 14620. Normal business hours are Monday-Thursday 9am-4:30pm, Friday 9am-6pm and Saturday 9am-1pm. Prizes will not be mailed.
Prizes will be released to winners only. Winners are required to present a valid state photo ID and social security number in order to pick up any prize.
GENERAL: This sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Winners consent to the use of their name, biographical information, photographs and/or likeness for advertising and publicity purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited or restricted by law. Entrants agree that Advantage its respective officers, directors, shareholders and employees shall not be liable for claims, demands, promises, causes of action, injury, loss or damage or liabilities of any kind resulting from participating in this promotion or from the acceptance or use of the prize awarded. By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules. Advantage reserves the right to verify eligibility qualifications of any winner. New York and US law govern these sweepstakes rules. No substitution or transfer of prizes is permitted, except that Advantage reserves the right to substitute any prize with one of comparable or greater value, whether in cash or otherwise, if a prize cannot be awarded as advertised for any reason. All prizes will be awarded.
TAXES AND EXPENSES: Except as otherwise specified, all federal, state or local taxes, including income taxes, and any other costs and expenses not specified herein are the sole responsibility of the winner.
