No minimum balance is required and there is no monthly service charge*. Transactions at AFCU ATMs are always FREE. If you use any other ATM, your first five ATM transactions each month are Free, and only $1.50 for each transaction thereafter.

Upon application for your checking account, you will receive complete information on electronic funds transfer, funds availability, and truth in savings.

*Members who maintain a minimum combined average daily balance of $500 (Basic) or $5,000 (Smart Money) with Advantage in deposit, certificate, IRA and loans, are exempt from the $5.00 per month service charge. Members 21 years of age and under will be exempt from the $5.00 fee. This fee is waived for the first 12 months.
